According to the American Academy of Dermatology, women who consume two glasses of skimmilk daily are 44 percent more likely than those who do not. What Is Whey Protein?

It is more efficient than casein in providing quick fuel for exercise, since it digests faster than casein. Both casein and whey are rich in BCAAs (branched chain amino acid) which aid muscle growth. What does “testosterone-spike production” refer to? They can increase your body’s testosterone production, which is one of the hormones that our endocrine system produces. Although testosterone has many great functions such as strengthening our bones, too much will cause an increase in sebum production. Sebum, the waxy oil produced in our sebaceous glands by our skin, can cause clogged pores and even acne.

Who Is Susceptible to Breakouts?

Although you may think that only those who are sensitive to milk can get whey protein, this is not true. Dr. Lancer states that anyone who consumes whey proteins can experience testosterone spikes that can cause blemishes. This can happen to any age, as well as people of all ancestries. If it causes you to break out, then it is likely that casein protein will.

Stop consuming them if you find that you get acne more frequently than you do when you don’t consume it. Dr Lancer recommends that you limit your dairy intake to reduce the testosterone spikes that can lead to breakouts. However, it’s important to note that not all dairy products can cause acne.
